Atherton House
I saw this lot created by
sarah*rose at MTS2. So, I have to thank her for linking to the
actual house. And with her permission I created my own version. I fell in love with the house when I saw it. All that nature surrounding the home, I'm a sucker for that- the way something man-made compliments nature and doesn't overwhelm or destroy it. I hope you all agree.
Located on the peninsula south of Sim Francisco, this house features mature landscaping and a sim-made pond that the owners would like to preserve. The previous owners wanted the home to be a private retreat that maximizes the drama of the pond. Large sliding glass doors open directly to the pond and terrace. This house creates a special place for any sim, making this main residence feel like a vacation retreat.
I tried to capture the original picture's angles and content with the ones I took.

Things You Should Know-Most of the objects were placed with the "snapobjects" cheat. All of them function properly but, probably better NOT to mess with them.
-lara9taylor, Nengi65 and Neveah223 have all retired
so, their objects are "a la carte" and don't include the whole set.
-The windows on the second level may appear blanked out when you enter the lot. To fix this type in the cheat "individualroofslopeangle 15" and pressing the CNTRL & OPTION keys simultaneously, in roof mode, click on the main house's rear roof or master bedroom's roof section facing the pond.
NOTE: I've included the necessary recolors in a separate file-
"Atherton House Recolors". Please download and install in your EA Games > Sims 2 > Downloads folder before installing and entering the lot.
